آج سونے کی قیمت میں نمایاں کمی دیکھنے میں آئی ہے۔ عالمی مارکیٹ میں فی اونس سونے کی قیمت میں 12 ڈالر کی کمی ہوئی ہے، جس کے بعد نئی قیمت 2,328 ڈالر فی اونس ہو گئی ہے۔

پاکستان میں بھی اس کمی کا اثر دیکھنے میں آیا۔ کراچی، لاہور اور اسلام آباد میں فی تولہ سونا 2,500 روپے سستا ہو گیا ہے۔ اب مقامی مارکیٹ میں فی تولہ سونا 241,500 روپے میں دستیاب ہے، جبکہ 10 گرام سونے کی قیمت 207,047 روپے ہو چکی ہے۔

ماہرین کے مطابق امریکی ڈالر کی قدر میں اتار چڑھاؤ اور عالمی اقتصادی حالات اس کمی کی بنیادی وجوہات ہیں۔
